Full Smile Makeover in 2 Weeks: Is It Really Possible? (A Guide for Ethiopians Visiting from Abroad)

One of the most common things we hear from Ethiopian patients visiting from abroad is: “I only have two weeks. Can I actually get my teeth done?”

The answer — for most smile makeover treatments — is yes.

What Can Be Done in a 2-Week Visit?

A full arch smile makeover at NovoCare typically takes between 10 and 14 days across two to three visits. Here’s what those visits look like:

Visit 1 — Assessment and Scanning We take 3D X-rays and a full digital scan of your teeth. This appointment usually takes 1 to 2 hours. We then design your new smile digitally — you can see the planned result before any work begins.

Visit 2 — Tooth Preparation and Temporaries Your teeth are gently prepared for veneers or crowns, and temporary restorations are placed so your smile looks great while your final restorations are being made in our lab.

Visit 3 — Final Fitting Your permanent veneers, crowns, or other restorations are fitted, adjusted, and polished. You leave with your final smile.

The whole process is designed to work efficiently without cutting corners.

What About Dental Implants?

Implants are different. Because the titanium post needs to fuse with your jawbone over 3 to 6 months, a complete implant cannot be finished in one visit. However, many diaspora patients handle this across two trips: the implant surgery on the first visit, and the final crown fitting on a subsequent visit to Ethiopia.

We’re very experienced in planning treatment for patients with limited time windows and can create a schedule that works around your travel.

Why Ethiopians from Abroad Choose Novo Care

Beyond the quality of care, there’s the obvious factor: the cost of dental work in Addis Ababa is a fraction of what you’d pay in North America, Europe, or the Gulf — without compromising on materials or technology.

We use the same digital scanning systems, the same premium crown materials, and the same treatment protocols as leading clinics in London or Dubai. The difference is simply what it costs you.
